by M&J Wilkow Properties Inc. has acquired
Wood Village Town Center in Wood Village, Oregon from
GM Realty Advisors for $34.9 million.
Grubb & Ellis Company handled the transaction for the seller of the retail and office development.
Located in Wood Village, Oregon, a suburb about 15 miles east of Portland, the Wood Village Town Center project is nearing completion. The center will feature 500,000 square feet of retail/office space. Major tenants will include department store Kohl's, the first of its kind in Oregon, a Lowe's home improvement center, as well as Starbucks, Party City, Sleep Country, Carl's Jr., El Pollo Loco, and Wireless Toyz.
The Chicago-based buyer, M&J Wilkow Properties Inc, is a full-service real estate firm that manages, sells, leases and invests in real estate for its own account, as well as for outside parties.
The Irvine, California-based seller, GM Realty Advisors, is a full service commercial real estate development and advisory firm.
Representing GM Realty was Grubb & Ellis, a commercial real estate advisory firm providing brokerage, property management and consulting services.
