Cushman & Wakefield's Boston office represented a private offshore partnership in its $33.9 million sale of
45 Milk St. in downtown Boston on June 19.
Anglo Irish Bank acquired the building on behalf the buyer, another private offshore partnership.
The nine-story Beaux Arts-style building in Boston's Financial District sits at the intersection of Milk and Devonshire Streets and boasts almost 69,000 sq. feet of office and retail space.
The building was originally constructed in 1893 for the International Trust Company by renowned Boston architect William Preston. It has undergone several renovations and upgrades, most recently in 2005. It's 100 percent occupied by such tenants as Wilmington Trust Corp., Appleton Partners, Nelson Kinder Mosseau & Saturley LLC and Egon Zehnder International.
Anglo Irish Bank is Ireland's third largest bank and the fourth largest company listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
