Industrial building in Carlsbad, Calif., sells for $13.5 million

Bixby Land Company has purchased the 106,139 square foot industrial building at 2840 Loker Ave. in Carlsbad, Calif., for $13.5 million from H.G. Fenton Company on Jan. 5.

H.G. Fenton used Real Capital Markets to market the transaction.

Rick Reeder, Dennis Visser, Mark Emerick and Aric Starck of Grubb & Ellis/BRE Commercial represented both parties in the transaction.

The building, which is fully leased to Seltzer Chemicals and Dunn Edwards, sits on a 6.24-acre parcel in the Carlsbad Oaks Business Center.

Bixby is a private real estate investment and development firm that owns more than 50 properties in California. They have been in business since the late 1890s.
