Louis Dreyfus Property Group acquires James Monroe Building

The James Monroe Building
The Louis Dreyfus Property Group purchased The James Monroe Building at 2001 Pennsylvania Ave. NW in Washington, D.C. from Prudential Real Estate Investors for $111.5 million on July 18.

Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers, who is a tenant in the building, represented the seller.

German fund TMW Real Estate Group paid $48.27 million for the 11-story, 157,666 sq. foot office building in 2001. It was built in 1990 and is located six blocks from the White House.

Louis Dreyfus Property Group is the real estate arm of Louis Dreyfus. It owns, develops, manages and operates over 8 million sq. feet of properties worldwide.

Prudential Real Estate Investors is the real estate investment management wing of Prudential Financial.
