Virginia CVS distribution center sells for $25.5 million

One of the largest CVS distribution centers in the country, located at 500 Lansdowne Rd. in Fredericksburg, Va., was bought for $25.5 million by Whitney-Fredericksburg, LLC from a high net worth investor from California on July 11.

CB Richard Ellis represented the buyer, which is a subsidiary of the Whitney Capital Company. Sperry Van Ness represented the seller.

The 487,987 sq. foot building, which is in the the Spotsylvania County Industrial submarket, was built in 1985 and sits on 39.4 acres. It's the fourth largest CVS distribution center in the country and is fully leased to CVS Corp.
