Clayton, Mo., office building sells for $75 million

BPG Properties Ltd., a Philadelphia-based the real estate investment manager for Berwind Property Group purchased the Pierre Laclede Center in Clayton Mo., for $75 million on Sept. 29.

Paul Hilton, Michael Hanrahan and Candice Frederick of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented the seller, BayNorth Capital LLC of Boston.

BPG plans to invest $5 million in capital improvements, including updates to lobbies and common areas, landscaping, streetscape and parking improvements, and upgrades to fitness facilities.

The 577,818 square foot Pierre Laclede Center has a 16-story tower and an adjoining 24-story tower. It is currently 90 percent leased.
