by Legacy Partners expanded its Denver area portfolio with the purchase of the 335,343 square foot Cascades office building from
The Broe Group, a Denver-based company.
While the terms of the deal were undisclosed, The Broe Group purchased the building in 2003 from
Devon Properties Inc. for $24 million.
Mary Sullivan, Tim Swan and Ron Urgitus of
CB Richard Ellis' Denver office represented Legacy in the deal.
The seven-story building is located at 6300 S. Syracuse Way in Englewood, Colo., a suburb of Denver, and was built in 1984. Legacy Partners plans to change the name of the building to the Legacy Cascades
The building has two loading docks, dual freight elevators and a central HVAC plant.
Foster City, Calif.-based Legacy Partners is a real estate investment company that currently manages a 15.5 million square foot portfolio.
The Broe Companies are a real estate investment company that owns and operates office, residential, retail and industrial properties throughout the U.S. and Canada.
CB Richard Ellis' Denver office was established in 1974 and offers real estate brokerage services in the areas of office, retail, industrial, land and multi-family.
