Richmond, Va., office tower brings $11.8 million

Washington-based The Bernstein Companies sold the Richmond Plaza Building in Richmond, Va., to Jemal's Richmond Plaza LLC for $11.8 million.

Catlin Tyler and Franklin Ellsworth of Grubb & Ellis/Harrison & Bates represented Bernstein in the transaction.

The Richmond Plaza is a six-story office building built in 1922. Located at 110 S. 7th St., it contains 269,097 square feet.

Founded in 1933, the Bernstein Companies is a real estate development, investment and management organization.

Grubb & Ellis/Harrison & Bates is a full service commercial real estate firm based in Richmond.
