The Sherlock Building
Seattle-based Urban Renaissance Group partnered with Great Point Investors of Boston to purchase the historic Sherlock Building in downtown Portland, Ore., for $9.75 million.

It was the debut purchase for the Urban Renaissance Group, which formed last year and is headed up by former Equity Office Properties Vice President Patrick Callahan.

The mid-rise building, built in 1893, is on the National Register of Historic Places. It spans 61,000 square feet and rises six stories and its location at 320 S.W. Oak St will be in close proximity to two Portland light rail lines.

Currently the building is fully leased by Zimmer, Gunsul, Frasca Architects LLC, with Ruth's Chris Steak House occupying the ground floor.

Urban Renaissance Group is a Seattle-based commercial real estate firm involved in the acquisition, development and management of properties in the Pacific Northwest and Denver, Colorado.

Address: Sherlock Building, 320 S.W. Oak St., Portland, Ore.

Size: 61,000 square feet

Built: 1893
