Carr Properties acquires Cox Communications building in Va.

Hanahan, S.C.-based Carr Properties has acquired the Cox Communications building in Herndon, Va., from Falcon Real Estate Investment Co. for an undisclosed amount.

Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers arranged the sale.

The 94,170 square foot building was 100 percent occupied at the time of sale by Cox, which holds a lease through April 2017. The property was a build-to-suit for the communications giant in 2002.

Carr Properties is a commercial real estate development, sales and management firm.

Falcon Real Estate is a real estate investment, advisory and management company.

Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers is a real estate brokerage firm.
