Triple Net sells South Dakota retail center

Santa Ana, Calif.-based Triple Net Properties has sold the Brookings Mall in Brookings, S.D., to Burger and Giles-Burger for an undisclosed price.

Todd Blonsley of Marcus and Millichap brokered the transaction.

The Brookings Mall is a 148,158 square-foot grocery-anchored retail center situated on 14 acres of land. Built in 1975, the community center is 97 percent occupied by Hy-Vee Food Stores, Ace Hardware, Daktronics, Brookings Liquor and Mediacom.

Triple Net is a subsidiary of NNN Realty Advisors, a commercial real estate asset management firm.

Marcus & Millichap is a provider of investment real estate brokerage services. In 2006, the company closed more than $20.5 billion of investment transactions.
