John Buck offering Park Evanston apartment building

The John Buck Co. is offering for sale the Park Evanston apartment building in Evanston, Ill. The property is being marketed by Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Holliday Fenoglio Fowler.

Built in 1997, The Park Evanston is currently 99 percent occupied. The 283-unit multi-family property contains a mixture of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and is expected to fetch approximately $100 million.

The offering includes the 39,000 square foot ground floor retail space that is currently leased to a Whole Foods grocery store.

The John Buck Co. is a Chicago-based commercial real estate development, management and acquisition company.
