10/9/2007SVN negotiates sale of two Kentucky mobile home parks

RHP Properties has acquired two mobile home parks in Walton, Ky., for $10.15 million.
Florence, Ky.-based Deer Trace Limited Partners sold the Deer Trace North & South while Crestview Hills, Ky.-based Americoal Corporation sold the Old Lexington Pike Villas.

Sperry Van Ness' Cincinnati office represented both sellers while David Kolar of SVN's Broomfield Hills, Mich., office represented RHP Properties.
Deer Trace North and South is a 222-space park while Old Lexington Pike contains 97 spaces. Both parks are situated on a combined 40 acres and were 85 percent occupied at the time of sale.
Walton, Ky., is roughly 20 miles south of Cincinnati.
Founded in 1987, Sperry Van Ness is one of the largest commercial real estate brokerage firms in the United States with nearly 900 advisors in 150 cities.
RHP Properties is a real estate investment firm specializing in the acquisition and professional operation of manufactured home and apartment communities.
Before serving as a senior advisor for SVN, Carmichael was a mobile home park specialist with Marcus & Millichap. He is a member of the Small Business Owners Association and the Walton Old Fashion Day Committee.
