Voit Commercial directs sale of Hitachi HQs for $16.5 million

North American headquarters of Hitachi Home Electronics Inc.

Chula Vista Holdings LLC has purchased the North American headquarters of Hitachi Home Electronics Inc. in Chula Vista, Calif., for $16.5 million from Norman-Hitachi, LP.

Harry Stone and Michael Mossmer of Voit Commercial Brokerage's San Diego office represented both parties in the transaction.

The property, located at 900 Hitachi Way, contains 86,920 square feet. The two-story building is the second phase of the Eastlake Business Center, which is seven miles from downtown San Diego and the Mexican border.

It is 100 percent leased to Hitachi Home Electronics, a distributor of digital televisions, camcorders, VCRs and DVD players.

Voit Commercial Brokerage, a member of CORFAC International, is a brokerage firm that specializes in the sales and leasing of office, industrial and retail properties, in addition to investment property sales.
