10/25/2007West side Manhattan tower trades for $70 million
by  | | 127-135 West 33rd Street |  |  | | Mr. Heller |  |  | | Mr. Silverman | Studley represented the partnership of Savanna Partners and the City Investment Fund in the sale of the 16-story building 127-135 West 33rd Street in Manhattan for $70.5 million to Time Equities.Savanna Partners and the City Investment Fund paid $43 million for the 171,000 square-foot building earlier this year. Studley's Woody Heller and managing director Will Silverman represented the sellers. The building on West 33rd between Sixth and Seventh Avenues contains 152,000 square feet of office space in addition to 19,000 reserved for retail. Heller and Silverman work together on Studley's Capital Transaction Group in New York. Mr. Silverman has been involved in numerous notable sales in Manhattan including 125 Park Avenue while Mr. Heller most notably negotiated the sale of Citigroup Center. Founded in 1968, New York-based Time Equities Inc., is a real estate investment firm with interests in commercial, industrial, and retail properties in addition to owning more that 3,300 multi-family units.
