Voit Commercial handles sale of Tempe industrial site

A joint venture between Baseline Industrial Tempe, LP and MES-19, LLC has purchased the Baseline Industrial Center in Tempe, Ariz., for $9.54 million from BICAZ, LLC.

Alan Pekarcik and Daniel Vittone of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented both the seller and the joint venture.

The five-building industrial complex contains 109,650 total square feet and is located at 5235, 5245 and 5255 South Kyrene Rd. Built on 5.24 acres, the multi-tenant complex contains units ranging in size from 500 to 1,000 square feet, according to Pekarcik.

The transaction included 106 individual units. The 5235 South Kyrene Rd. location contains 56,750 square feet of space, 5245 Kyrene contains 40,000 and 5255 Kyrene provides 12,900.

Pekarcik is a senior vice president with Voit Commercial and has been with the company since 1998. Prior to that he was VP of acquisitions for Kilroy Realty and also a broker for DAUM/Johnstown American. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.

Vittone, also a senior VP, joined Voit in 2001 after being a manager at Cushman Realty and a financial analyst with CB Commercial Real Estate Group. He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles with a degree is Business/Finance. Together, Pekarcik and Vittone head Team PV.
