Hendricks & Partners negotiate sale of Austin multi-family

St. Louis, Mo.-based The Arts Apartments at South Austin, LLC has purchased the Whispering Oaks apartments in Austin, Texas, from Whispering Oaks Apartment Associates of Austin, a Texas joint venture.

Ellen Muskin of Hendricks & Partners brokered the sale.

The 140-unit Whispering Oaks apartments are located at 400 W. Saint Elmo Rd. Built in 1984, the property has recently undergone exterior and interior renovations, which the buyer plans to continue.

Muskin was recently promoted to partner in Hendricks' Austin office. She joined the company in 1999 as an associate partner and has worked as a multi-family advisor since. She recently brokered the sale of the 252-unit Runnymede Apartments in Austin.
