JV buys Miami office property

2699 South Bayshore Drive (Office in the Grove)

A joint venture between Steelbridge Capital and Wilton, Conn.-based Commonfund Realty Inc. has purchased the Office in the Grove from Uccello Immobilien GmbH, a German investment firm.

Cushman & Wakefield brokered the transaction for the Steelbridge/Commonfund venture.

The 80,000 square foot office property is located at 2699 South Bayshore Drive in Miami's Coconut Grove submarket. Uccello purchased the nine-story property in 1985. It is currently 100 percent leased to tenants such as Kaufman Rossin & Company, an independent accounting firm, and the law firm of Katz Barron Squiterro & Faust.
