11/16/2007Lee & Associates orchestrate $13 million sale of San Diego retail property

CIF Holdings has acquired the Casa de Oro Shopping Center in the San Diego suburb of Spring Valley, Calif., for more than $13 million from Weikel Survivor's Trust.
CIF was represented by
Scott Duhs and
Craig Duhs of
Lee & Associates while Ron Bamberger of Boardwalk Development represented the seller.
The 71,995 square foot shopping center is located at 9731, 9735-9805 Campo Rd. It is currently 87 percent leased to tenants such as Big 5 Sporting Goods, Dollar Tree, KFC and Subway.
Spring Valley is located roughly 15 miles east of San Diego and has a population of 59,384, according to the 2000 census.
Craig Duhs is a principal with Lee & Associate's San Diego office and specializes in retail and investment brokerage. He was the 1992 Rookie of the Year and earned his B.A. in Real Estate/Finance from San Diego University.
Scott Duhs, also a principal specializing in retail and investment brokerage, was the Rookie of the Year in 1991. The two men became partners in 1990 have since completed more than 1,100 lease and sales transactions.
