Cushman & Wakefield finalizes sale of Houston high-rise

Los Angeles, Calif.-based Younan Properties, Inc. has acquired 1010 Lamar St., a 19-story office tower in Houston's Central Business District from Newport Beach, Calif.-based KBS Realty Advisors.

Younan was self-represented in the deal while Ken Page and Scott Myers of Cushman & Wakefield represented KBS.

Built in 1981, the building contains 260,000 square feet and was 96 percent leased at the time of sale with three floors currently vacant. The deal marks Younan's eighth Houston acquisition, making the company the second largest owner of office space in Texas.
