Hendricks & Partners sells Austin sorority house

David Buttross, CEO of Buttross Realty, has purchased the former sorority house of Sigma Delta Tau in Austin, Texas from the Texas Sigma Delta Tau Educational Foundation.

Hendricks & Partners' Ellen Muskin represented the seller in the transaction.

The 11,703 square foot property is located at 2411 Longview St. and was built in 1957. It served as the central address of the Tau Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau until 2006. Buttross plans to renovate the property in order to provide low-cost student housing.

Muskin, who was recently promoted to partner in October, joined the company in 1999 as an associate partner. She recently brokered the sale of Austin's The Arts Apartments.
