JV pays $106M for 7900 Harkins Rd.

A joint venture between Urban America, L.P. and The Carl Williams Group has purchased the Computer Sciences Corporation Building in Lanham, Md., for $106 million. According to Prince George's County assessment records, the seller was Vingarden Associates, a Maryland limited partnership.

Mark Winter and Tom Mizo of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler secured $73.24 million in financing for the acquisition in the form of a seven-year, fixed-rate securitized loan through UBS Investment Bank.

The 12-story building is located at 7900 Harkins Rd. and was a build-to-suit for CSC in 2002. It contains 325,000 square feet on 1.72 acres and is currently 84.8 percent leased to CSC.

Lanham is located 11 miles northeast of Washington, D.C.
