12/20/2007Voit Commercial sells four San Diego business parks for $27M
by Colony Realty Partners has purchased a portfolio of four business parks in San Diego, Calif., for $27.2 million from the McGrath Family Trust.

Voit Commercial Brokerage's San Diego office represented both the buyer and the seller. LaChance was assisted in the deal by Glen Volk, Todd Holley, Brian Mulvaney and Bruce Sanders.
The portfolio is 97 percent leased with major tenants including General Atomics, Time Warner and Ameditech. The contents of the portfolio are as follows:
- The Rancho Pacifica; located at
15950 Bernardo Center Drive in Rancho Bernardo. It contains 26,795 square feet and is 100 percent leased.
- The Cornerstone Business Center; located at
10840 Thornmint Rd., in Rancho Bernardo. It contains 42,970 square feet on 2.88 acres and is 100 percent leased.
- The Carroll Industrial Park; located at
9030-9040 Carroll Way in the Miramar submarket. The two-building property contains 48,834 square feet on 2.59 acres and is 100 percent leased.
- The Sorrento Mesa Commerce Center; located at
6915 Flanders Way and
10320-10340 Camino Santa Fe, in the Sorrento Mesa submarket. The three-building park contains 57,908 square feet on four acres and is 93 percent leased.
LaChance is a broker with the San Diego office of Voit Commercial Brokerage, a subsidiary of The Voit Cos. He has been with the company since 1988, when he was hired as a runner by Volk. He specializes in the sale and leasing of industrial and R&D properties in Kearny Mesa, Miramar and Sorrento Mesa. LaChance has completed more than 800 transactions totaling 11 million square feet with an estimated value of more than $750 million.
