Affiliates of Phoenix, Ariz.-based
The Ellman Companies have purchased 1001 and 2425 West Loop South in Houston, Texas from Fuller West Loop, LLC.
Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Dan Miller and Marty Hogan marketed the property for the seller while the disposition was handled by
Stephen Darnall of
Fuller Realty Advisors.
The 1001 West Loop property is known as the Cingular Building and was constructed in 1978. The eight-story office building contains 221,913 square feet on 3.93 acres and was 85 percent occupied at time of sale to tenants such as Cingular and Xerox.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield Building at 2425 West Loop contains 281,590 square feet on 2.44 acres. The 11-story tower was built in 1980 and is currently 74 percent occupied by Blue Cross Blue Shield, among other tenants. The two buildings have a combined square footage of 503,503.
Darnall is a principal and CEO with Fuller Realty. He is a member of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute and earned his B.A. in Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
HFF's Miller and Hogan have recently brokered the $44.5 million sale of
363 N. Sam Houston Parkway and the $100 million sale of
919 Milam, both in Houston.
