Glendale, Calif.-based
Apartment Realty Advisors has sold the ALARA Glenmuir Apartments in Naperville, Ill., for $55.5 million to a pension fund managed by New York City-based
JP Morgan Chase.

Moran & Co. marketed the 321-unit complex, which sold for approximately $172,897 per unit.
Built in 1999, the property is located at 2604 Rockport Lane and was 97 percent occupied at the time of sale. It consists of 23 two-story buildings on 22 acres and a clubhouse that was remodeled in 2005. It has a unit mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Moran is the chairman of Moran & Co. and founded the company as an investment firm in 1971. He went on to start the company's brokerage business in 1995. Prior to that, he was an investment banker with Walton & Company and a tax consultant with Arthur Andersen. He received his B.S. from Marquette University and his J.D. from Georgetown University.
Evans is a partner in Moran's Chicago office and has been with the company since 2006. He is a former employee of Developers Mortgage Corporation, Glaser Financial Group and Freddie Mac. He is a member of the Chicago Real Estate Council and a graduate of Western Illinois University.
Naperville is located roughly 40 miles west of Chicago and has a population of roughly 130,000.
