NAI Capital brokers $14.3M sale of Sunset Plaza


Sun Capital Advisers has purchased Sunset Plaza in the Las Vegas suburb of Henderson, Nev., for $14.3 million from Santa Monica, Calif.-based Mandan Investment Group, LLC.

Barry Rothstein of NAI Capital's Encino, Calif., office, along with Cathy Jones and Paul Miachika of Las Vegas-based Sun Commercial, represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction.

The 34,300 square foot retail center is located at 1000-1152 W. Sunset Rd. Current tenants include Sprint, Big & Tall, Barbeques Galore, Farmers Insurance, Nevada Federal Credit Union and Supercuts.

The identity of the buyer and seller were derived from Clark County assessment records.

Rothstein is a senior VP with NAI and a former executive VP with Triad Property Management, Inc. He was NAI's 2004 Broker of the Year and is a graduate of Sonoma State University and Southwestern University School of Law.

Henderson is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Las Vegas.
