1/7/2008CBRE negotiates sale of Deer Corporate Center for $12.4M

Chicago, Ill.-based Zeller Realty Group has acquired the Deer Corporate Center in Brookfield, Wis., for $12.4 million from Des Moines, Iowa-based Principal Financial Group. Michael Vesper of CB Richard Ellis represented Principal Financial while Bob Six handled the in-house negotiations for Zeller. The office building is located at 445 S. Moorland Rd. and contains 109,000 square feet. The three-story tower was built in 1986 and underwent renovations in 2003. It was 100 percent occupied at the time of sale to tenants including Old Republic and Vrakas/Blum Mergers & Acquisitions. Brookfield is located 15 miles west of Milwaukee and has a population of 38,649. Vesper is an executive VP with CBRE and has been with the company since 1994. He is a member of the CBRE's Investment Properties Institutional Group in Chicago and is a former CFO for Trammell Crow Company and treasurer for Homart Development Company. Address: 445 S.
