KBS sells Houston's Kirkwood Atrium II

Santa Fe, N.M.-based BGK Group has purchased the Kirkwood Atrium II, an 11-story office building in Houston, Texas from KBS Realty Advisors.

The price was unreleased, but Harris County assessment records appraised the building at $17.7 million.

Dan Miller, Robert Williamson and Martin Hogan of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler represented KBS in the transaction.

Kirkwood Atrium is located along Interstate Highway 10 at 11767 Katy Freeway and is currently 87.8 percent occupied. It contains 224,630 square feet and is connected to a seven-story, 707-space parking garage.

KBS recently purchased a six-property portfolio of distribution and flex buildings in Nashville, Tenn., for $53.5 from an affiliate of First Industrial Realty Trust.
