A joint venture between
Pacific Coast Capital Partners and Denver, Colo.-based The Griffis Group of Companies has acquired the Gateway Park Apartments in Denver and the Bristol Village Apartments in Aurora. The communities were purchased from Chicago-based
AMLI Residential and
Jordon Perlmutter & Co.The Pacific Coast/Griffis venture was self-represented while Pamela Koster of
Moran & Co. represented AMLI and Garrette L. Matlock of
Marcus & Millichap represented Jordon Perlmutter.
The Gateway Park Apartments contain 328 units and were built in 1999. The gated community is located at 4255 Kittredge St. and was purchased from AMLI. The Bristol Village Apartments are located at 17201 E. Walsh Way and were acquired from Jordon Perlmutter. They were built in 2003 and contain 240 units.
The Griffis Group purchased the properties on behalf of its Griffis Value Added Fund, LLC. The acquisition brings the venture's Denver holdings to 784 units. In August 2007, the companies purchased Highline on Cherry Creek, a 216-unit apartment community in Denver.
