Cassidy & Pinkard broker sale of 770 M St.

770 M St.

Preferred Unlimited, Inc. has sold the historic 770 M St. office building in Washington, D.C., for an undisclosed price to Madison Marquette.

Terms of the deal were undisclosed but the property sold for $20.2 million in December 2005 and had an assessed value of $21.25 million in 2008.

Jayne Shister, Paul Collins and Christopher Woods of Cassidy & Pinkard Colliers represented Preferred Unlimited in the deal.

The 99,984 square foot building is currently 100 percent leased with its largest tenant being Eagle Academy Public Charter. Other tenants include Kip DC/Key Academy, Inc., PSI Services III, Inc. and Administrative Services, Inc.

The Cassidy & Pinkard team recently brokered the sale of 918 F St. NW in Washington, D.C.
