HFF finances $28.5M acquisition of 346,000 sf in Minneapolis

San Francisco, Calif.-based City Center Retail, LLC has acquired a 346,000 square foot office building in Minneapolis, Minn., from Apple Valley-based Ames & Fisher Co. II.

While the terms of the deal were undisclosed, the acquisition was financed with a $28.5 million loan from GE Real Estate. John Crump and Scott McMullin of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler secured the financing.

The nine-story building is located at 800 Washington Ave. North and is currently 76 percent leased. Built in 1910, it is situated on three acres within Minneapolis' historic Warehouse District. The building had an assessed value of $14.4 million in 2007, according to Hennepin County tax records.
