Channel Center Holdings, LLC, a joint venture between
Commonwealth Ventures, LLC and GE Asset Management, sold 40 Channel Center in South Boston's Fort Point Channel area to a partnership of
Spalding Tougias Architects, Inc. and
Superior Dining Group.
The price of the transaction was not disclosed.
CB Richard Ellis negotiated on behalf of the seller, while Boston's
Saint James Real Estate Advisors represented the buyers.
Spalding Tougias Architects will be moving its offices to the building, with occupancy slated to be ready for late March. Superior Dining Group will open a yet-to-be-named restaurant on the building's ground floor later this year.
The Channel Center is a mix of commercial, office, retail and residential space in Boston's Fort Point Channel area
Commonwealth Ventures invests, owns and manages commercial real estate assets in New England.
