2/1/2008Transwestern to sell Milwaukee Center
by Michael Wayne | | Milwaukee Center | Transwestern Investment Co. is selling the 28-story Milwaukee Center in Milwaukee, Wis., an office tower with an assessed value of $47 million. Matthew Haley, managing director at Transwestern, said the building is being offered without an asking price. Jamie Fink and Jeff Bramson of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Chicago office have been hired to market the property. Built in 1988, the office building is located at 111 E. Kilbourn Ave. It contains 373,500 square feet and is currently 93 percent occupied. Transwestern acquired the Milwaukee Center in 2001 when it acquired the assets of Great Lakes REIT, which purchased the building for $46.5 million in 1998 from the Teacher's Retirement System of Texas.
