Columbus area apartment portfolio brings $24M

Pasadena, Calif.-based Evergreen Realty Group has purchased a portfolio of three apartment complexes in the Columbus, Ohio-area for a sale price of more than $24 million. The 444-unit portfolio was purchased from Indianapolis, Ind.-based Barrett & Stokely, Inc..

The deal was brokered by Tikijian Associates and CB Richard Ellis on behalf of the seller.

Evergreen Realty Group is a private real estate investment company with interests in apartment communities as well as self-storage and industrial properties.

The portfolio contains the following properties:
- The 196-unit Muirwood Village Apartments at 1259 Muirwood Drive,Zanesville, Ohio
- The 136-unit Sheffield at Sylvan at 321 Pontious Lane in Circleville.
- The 112-unit Residence at Newark at 1476 Residence Drive in Newark.
