Fairfield Properties pays $12.75M for two Long Island apartment communities

Commack, N.Y.-based Fairfield Properties has acquired the Suburbia Gardens and the Thunderbird Gardens apartment communities in West Babylon for $12.75 million from Rinmark Properties and Kimcore Realty.

Marcus & Millichap's Ken Hoff represented both parties in the transaction.

The two properties are located one mile apart in West Babylon, a city located approximately 40 miles northeast of New York City. Suburbia Gardens is located at 381 Great East Neck Rd. while the Thunderbird Gardens complex is located at 101 Magaw Place. The two properties contain a combined 85 units and sold for $150,000 per unit.
