A joint venture between
Birtcher Development & Investments and
Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, LLC has purchased a 608,220 square foot industrial building in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., for $68 million.
Clyde Stauff of
Colliers International represented the joint venture in the transaction.
The building is located at 9400 Santa Fe Springs Rd. and is currently leased by Liz Claiborne. The fashion and fragrance company has used the building since 2000 as its West Coast distribution hub. It was built in 1980 and is the former headquarters of Fedco, a food and product wholesale company.
A senior vice president with Colliers, Stauff has been with the firm since 1973. He was named a CoStar top broker in 2004 &'05 and and recently brokered the $10 million sale of the
Ryko Products headquarters in Fontana, Calif. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
