Mountain View Management, LLC, an investment company led by Satkirtan Khalsa, has purchased the Mountain View Apartments in Avondale, Ariz., for $10.25 million from Zacharia Oprea.
Transwestern's Matt Lockin and Bobby Bull represented the seller in the transaction.
Located at 333 E. Van Buren St., the Mountain View Apartments contain 150 units and sold with a 6.4 percent capitalization rate. Built in 1984 on 4.59 acres, the 15-building complex sits is comprised of studios, as well as one and two-bedroom units. It was 99 percent occupied at the time of sale.
Avondale is located approximately 15 miles west of Phoenix and has a population of 75,403, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
Bull is a managing director in Transwestern's Phoenix office and specializes in multi-family investment sales and land brokerage. He is a former employee of Trammell Crow and a graduate of New Mexico State University.
Lockin, a sales associate, specializes in investment sales of multi-family properties, land parcels, condominium conversions and redevelopment opportunities. Prior to joining Transwestern, Mr. Lockin was a registered broker with Charles Schwab Co. and is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
