Ameriton Properties, Inc.Ameriton was represented in the transaction by Derrick Bloom, Sean Henry and John Weber of
Apartment Realty Advisors.
Designed to look like New York City brownstones, the apartment complex is located in the Buckhead area at 3315 Roswell Rd. and was 60 percent occupied at the time of sale. It was developed by Ameriton in 2007 and is comprised of two mid-rise buildings with two and three-bedroom apartments.
Simpson Housing is one of the largest privately held residential developers and managers in the nation. The company
recently purchased Waterford Place at Mount Zion in Stockbridge for $33.25 million, a transaction brokered by Bloom, Weber and Henry.
Bloom joined ARA in 1998 after spending two years in the tax consulting division of the Atlanta office of Arthur Anderson LLP. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a bachelor's in Accounting and a master's in Accountancy.
Weber is a principal and managing broker with ARA and is the former VP of Julian LeCraw & Company. He is active in coaching basketball, baseball and football with the Northside Youth Organization and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Henry began his career in the commercial real estate industry in 1990 as the VP of acquisitions of General Investment and Development Company in Boston. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University.
