Opus West adds new VP of retail development

Phoenix, Ariz.-based Opus West Corp. has added Greg Wattson as VP of retail development in the firm's Irvine, Calif., office where he will implement new retail development projects throughout Southern California.

Wattson joins Opus West after working as senior VP of retail development for Trammell Crow Company. In that capacity, he was responsible for the company's retail development activities in the western United States. He is also a former employee of Wattson Brevast where he developed retail projects along the West Coast such as The Shops at Tanforan and FireCreek Crossing.

In his new role, Wattson will also oversee Opus' existing retail projects including the 400,000 square foot Shoppes at Chino Hills and the 500,000 square foot Commons at Chino Hills.

Opus West is a commercial real estate developer and subsidiary of Minneapolis, Minn.-based The Opus Group.
