GE acquires Houston office tower

Oak Park Office Center II

Realty Associates Oak Park II, LP, a joint venture between Boston, Mass.-based TA Associates and Myers, Crow & Saviers, Ltd., has sold the Oak Park Office Center II in Houston, Texas to GE Real Estate.

Robert Williamson, Jeff Hollinden and Barbara Guffey of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler represented the joint venture in the deal.

The office building is located within the Oak Park Business Park at 6380 Rogerdale Rd. and contains 206,362 square feet. Built in 2006, it is situated on 18 acres and is fully leased to The Men's Wearhouse, which uses the building as its corporate headquarters.

Hollinden recently brokered the sale of another Houston office tower. In January, he represented both Behringer Harvard and Dienna Nelson Augustine Company in the sale of Westway One, a 143,000 square foot office building.
