3/4/2008AIMCO sheds Cincinnati multi-family
by Michael Wayne | | Ms. Corson | Berkshire Realty Group has acquired the Hunter's Creek Apartments in the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash, Ohio from Denver, Colo.-based AIMCO. Debbie Corson of Apartment Realty Advisors represented AIMCO in the transaction. Built in 1980, Hunter's Creek is situated on 13.2 acres at 9231 Hunters Creek Drive, about ten miles north of Cincinnati's central business district. The 146-unit complex was 98 percent occupied at the time of sale. Corson is a principal with ARA and is the former owner of Corson & Associates. She merged the company with ARA in 1990. She is a former employee of The Tipton Group, Inc. where she was an executive VP and partner in the firm. The Apartment Investment and Management Company (AIMCO) is the nation's largest owner and operator of apartment communities with operations in 47 states. Berkshire Realty Group owns and manages apartment communities in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.
