3/5/2008Colliers brokers $14.2M sale of office building in suburban L.A.

Larkspur, Calif.-based Venture Corporation has purchased an office building in the Warner Center, a mixed-use property in Woodland Hills, for $14.2 million from Ashrad, LLC, a Van Nuys-based electronics company.

Colliers International represented both parties in the transaction.
The four-story building contains 46,244 square feet and is located at 5900 Canoga Ave. Built in 1979, the building is set to undergo renovations that will convert the building into suites for private ownership. The Warner Center is a mixed-use property that blends office, retail and residential properties.
Woodland Hills is located approximately 25 miles northwest of Los Angeles and has a population of 61,092, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
DeGrinis is a senior VP with Colliers and specializes in the brokerage of industrial properties in the North Los Angeles region. He has been with Colliers for over 20 years and is a member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association.
Beck is a vice president in Colliers' Encino office.
