3/10/2008Duke Realty acquires two Savannah industrial buildings
by Indianapolis, Ind.-based Duke Realty Corporation has increased its Savannah, Ga., holdings to 5.1 million square feet with the acquisition of Northpoint II and Northpoint III from locally-based Northpoint Industrial. Northpoint II is a 285,000 square foot building located within the Crossroads Business Park near the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. It is currently leased to Laufen International, a building supplies wholesaler, and Excercera, a fitness products manufacturer. Built in 2006, Northpoint III is a 504,000 square foot distribution center located within Interstate Centre. The building is fully leased to Oneida, a dinnerware importer. Duke Realty recently sold a 176,820 square foot distribution facility in the Atlanta suburb of Suwanee to James Campbell Co.
