Wrightwood Capital buys Aurora industrial property

Wrightwood Capital has purchased a 121,000 square foot industrial building in Aurora, Ill., from Shorewood Properties, LLC.

Frank Griffin and Dominic Carbonari of Grubb & Ellis represented the seller in the transaction.

The building is located at 2300 North Raddant Rd., in Aurora, about an hour west of Chicago. Built in 1990, the building spans 121,000 square feet, 6,600 of which is office space. It is 100 percent leased to tenants including Cano Container Corporation, Packaging Dimensions, Inc. and United Express System.

The building is a manufacturing and warehouse property and represents the 16th acquisition for Wrightwood Capital's Industrial Property Fund III.

Chicago-based Wrightwood is a real estate finance and investment with offices in nine U.S. cities.
