3/19/2008Colliers brokers sale of Kansas City shopping center

BF Partners, LP has purchased the Douglas Square Shopping Center in the Kansas City suburb of Lee's Summit, Mo., from Douglas Square I, LLC. Peter A. Stadler of Colliers Turley Martin Tucker represented the seller in the transaction. Douglas Square is a four-building retail center with inline retail stores located at 1301-1667 Northeast Douglas St. It was built in 2001 and contains 59,436 square feet. The shopping center was 89 percent occupied at the time of sale to tenants including Panera Bread Company, Sprint, Jose Peppers, Countrywide, Mr. Goodcents and Children's Orchard. Stadler is an investment sales associate with CTMT and is in charge of the firm's retail investment sales initiative in Kansas City. Prior to joining CTMT, he worked for an industrial real estate investment fund as a leasing and acquisition consultant. Stadler is a graduate of Rockhurst University and the University of Missouri.
