Grubb & Ellis sells 240,000 sf of industrial space in South Carolina


T. Walter Brashier & Associates has sold two industrial buildings in the Greenville, S.C., suburbs of Fountain Inn and Williamston to investor Schwarz & Schwarz.

T. Walter was represented in the transaction by John Scott of Grubb & Ellis/The Furman Co., along with Ford Borders and Grice Hunt with NAI Earle Furman.

The two buildings contain an aggregate 240,000 square feet. The first property is located at 362 N. Old Laurens Rd. in Fountain Inn and contains 160,000 square feet. It is currently leased to Caterpillar. The second building contains 80,000 square feet and is located at 2100 Welcome Rd. in Williamston and is fully leased to Human Technologies.

Scott is the VP of Furman's Industrial Group and is responsible for the sale and leasing of warehouse and plant facilities in upstate South Carolina. He joined the firm in 1991 and is a former general sales manager with a broadcast communication company. Scott earned his bachelor's degree from Furman University.
