Duke Realty sells Virginia development site

Indianapolis, Ind.-based Duke Realty Corporation has sold a 40-acre land parcel in Chantilly, Va., to El Segundo, Calif.-based The Aerospace Corporation.

Aerospace was represented by CB Richard Ellis.

The development site is slated for 900,000 square feet of office space and is located at the intersection of Lee Road and Stonecroft Blvd., which is approximately 25 miles west of Arlington.

The Aerospace Corporation has selected Duke Realty as the developer of the site. Duke Realty will build a 450,000-500,000 square foot office building for the firm with construction set to begin in 2009.
