5/2/2008Non-profit acquires Philadelphia office building
by Liberty Resources, Inc., a Philadelphia, Pa.-based non-profit organization, has purchased a seven-story office building in the Philadelphia submarket of Center City from 714 Holdings Inc. The seller was represented by Cushman & Wakefield's Roger McManimon and Jack Myers, while the buyer was represented by Vince Jolly of Selgisohn, Soens, Hess. The building is located at 714 Market St. and contains 245,000 square feet. It is currently occupied by Philadelphia Workforce Development Corp., Teach for America, Philadelphia Youth Network, H2L2 Architects and the buyer. Liberty Resources is the Center for Independent Living for the Philadelphia area, a group that advocates and promotes independent living for persons with disabilities.
