HFF places Chicago development site on sales block

The Chicago, Ill., office of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler is marketing for sale a 1.8 acre land site in downtown Chicago on behalf of locally-based McHugh Construction.

Matthew Lawton and Daniel Kaufman are representing McHugh in the offering.

The 78,000 square foot site is located at 2222 S. Indiana Ave. It is adjacent to the 2.2 million square foot McCormick Place Convention Center.

Lawton is a senior managing director at HFF Chicago and heads the company's national multi-family group. He has 24 years experience in commercial real estate and specializes in the capitalization of investment real estate and multi-market portfolios. Last year, he brokered the $210 million sale of the Streeter, a 481-unit multi-family property in Chicago.
