5/16/2008Indiana retail center fetches $21M
by Michael WayneBaceline Investments, LLC has purchased the Lafayette Marketplace retail center in Lafayette, Ind., for $21.38 million from Kimco Realty Corporation. Paul Barile and Janice Sellis of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler's Chicago, Ill., office and Dave Keller of the firm's Indianapolis office represented the seller in the transaction. The retail center is located at 3500 State Rd. 38 East and contains 214,876 square feet. Built in 1996, it's anchored by Kmart and is currently 80 percent occupied to tenants including Michaels, Petsmart, Pier 1 Imports and Staples. Address: 3500 State Rd. 38 E, Lafayette, Ind.
